Your Consumer Rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty operates in addition to your statutory rights — it does not replace them, and those rights are not limited by the expiry of the warranty period.

2 Sale and Delivery Terms
All pricing is exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise and is quoted exclusive of delivery. Equipment pricing excludes delivery, installation, water filtration, and training unless specified in your purchase agreement, tax invoice, or other written order confirmation, or as otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
All units are tested by certified Franke technicians prior to delivery. Certified Refurbished equipment is fully functional, cosmetically refreshed, and may display minor wear consistent with prior use; this does not constitute a defect.
You have seven (7) days from delivery to notify Autesso via email to service@autesso.com.au of any issues relating to the apparent condition of the Equipment that are identifiable on reasonable visual inspection (for example, physical damage, incorrect model, or missing components). If no such issues are raised within this period, the Equipment will be deemed accepted in respect of its apparent condition. Acceptance of apparent condition is assessed at the point of delivery; any changes in the condition of the Equipment between delivery and installation are the Customer’s responsibility once risk has transferred.
This acceptance period applies to visible defects only and does not limit or exclude your right to make a warranty claim for latent defects — being faults that are not reasonably identifiable on visual inspection at the time of delivery — which may be claimed under the Warranty Period set out in Section 3, or under your rights at law.
Risk transfers to you upon delivery, and ownership transfers upon receipt of full payment.
3 Warranty Period
Autesso warrants the Equipment against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following periods (the “Warranty Period”):
New Franke Equipment: Twelve (12) months from the date of installation, or fifteen (15) months from the date of purchase, whichever occurs first. Parts and labour are included.
Certified Refurbished Franke Equipment: Six (6) months from the date of installation or the date of purchase, whichever occurs first. Parts and labour are included.
The Customer must notify Autesso of the installation date within seven (7) days of installation by emailing service@autesso.com.au. If Autesso is not notified, the Warranty Period will be deemed to commence on the date of purchase.
The Warranty Period applies to the specific Equipment identified by model and serial number in your purchase agreement, tax invoice, or other written order confirmation.
This Warranty Period is an express warranty provided by Autesso and operates in addition to, not instead of, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. The expiry of the Warranty Period does not extinguish your statutory rights.
4 What Is Covered
During the Warranty Period, if the Equipment develops a fault caused by a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, Autesso will assess and resolve the claim at no cost to you, including parts and labour. Autesso manages the complete warranty process, including any liaison with the equipment manufacturer.
Warranty service is provided onsite within standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm AEST, excluding public holidays). Service outside these hours will incur additional charges as quoted prior to attendance.
5 Remedies
5.1 Minor Failure
If the Equipment suffers a fault that does not amount to a major failure, Autesso will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Repair of the Equipment using new or certified equivalent replacement parts;
- Replacement of the defective component or, where necessary, the Equipment; or
- A refund, at Autesso’s discretion.
Autesso will endeavour to complete warranty repairs within five (5) business days of diagnosis, subject to parts availability. If the fault is not rectified within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel any related service contract and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
5.2 Major Failure
If the Equipment suffers a major failure (as defined under the Australian Consumer Law), you are entitled to choose between:
- A refund of the purchase price; or
- Replacement of the Equipment with an equivalent unit, being equipment of the same or comparable model and specification, as reasonably determined by Autesso.
You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from the failure.
5.3 Replacement Parts
Replacement parts or equipment provided under warranty may be new or certified equivalent replacement parts. Repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or renew the original Warranty Period.
6 How to Make a Warranty Claim
To lodge a warranty claim, you must:
- Contact Autesso by phone (1800 975 133) or email (service@autesso.com.au) within fourteen (14) days of identifying the fault;
- Provide a description of the issue, along with your proof of purchase and the Equipment serial number;
- Provide photos, videos, or error logs if requested by Autesso;
- Allow Autesso reasonable and safe access to the Equipment during standard business hours or at a mutually agreed time to diagnose the issue.
Failure to notify Autesso within the period set out in clause 6(a) may affect Autesso’s ability to assess the claim and may result in the claim being declined where the delay has materially affected diagnosis or remedy.
Claims are typically assessed within one (1) business day. If a claim is not covered under this warranty, Autesso will advise you in writing and provide a quote for any applicable service, labour, or parts charges before proceeding.

- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or marks.
- Vandalism, accidental damage, or external events beyond normal use (including flooding and natural disasters).
7.7 Other
- Any other cause not attributable to a defect in materials or workmanship, including but not limited to acts of God, civil unrest, or regulatory action.
8 Transferability
This warranty may be transferred to a subsequent owner of the Equipment, provided that:
- Autesso is notified in writing within fourteen (14) days of the transfer, including the new owner’s name, contact details, and the Equipment serial number;
- The new owner retains the original proof of purchase (or a copy); and
- The Equipment has not been relocated without Autesso being notified and without the Equipment being recommissioned in accordance with manufacturer specifications; and has not been modified or serviced by unauthorised persons since the original installation.
The transferred warranty will continue for the remainder of the original Warranty Period only and does not restart. Autesso reserves the right to inspect the Equipment following a transfer before accepting ongoing warranty obligations. If the Equipment is found to have been misused, modified, or improperly maintained, the warranty may be voided.
If the above conditions are not met, the warranty will not transfer and will remain with the original purchaser for the remainder of the Warranty Period, subject to the Equipment remaining at its original installed location.

- In relation to services: the supply of the services again, or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autesso excludes all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of use, cost of substitute or temporary equipment, business interruption, or any other pecuniary loss arising out of or in connection with the Equipment or this warranty, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise.
The limitations in this clause apply to the extent permitted by law and are subject to the Customer’s rights under Section 5.2 in respect of major failures. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
10 Delays Beyond Autesso’s Control
Autesso’s obligations under this warranty may be delayed where parts or replacement equipment are unavailable due to circumstances beyond Autesso’s reasonable control, including manufacturer supply constraints, shipping delays, or force majeure events. Autesso will notify you of any anticipated delay and provide an estimated timeframe for resolution.
